Who knows how to tickle the funny bone better than comic genius Carol Burnett? The Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress has done it all. From her Broadway debut as Princess Winnifred the Woebegone in Once Upon a Mattress in 1959 to her long-running self-titled variety show to her performances in the films Annie and Noises Off, Burnett has never ceased to make us laugh. On April 6, the beloved star made her way to Broadway’s laugh-out-loud new play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Golden Theatre. After the show, Burnett made her way backstage to congratulate the cast, led by Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen.
