'Women of Will' will end its run on May 26.

Tina Packer’s epic Shakespearean series Women of Will will play its final performance at The Gym at Judson on May 26, one week earlier than its originally scheduled end date, so that Packer’s co-star Nigel Gore can star in the title role in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s production of Macbeth.

Women of Will is offered in five individual parts or in one comprehensive marathon. Each series segment investigates a different time period of Shakespearean works, diving into the way the Bard portrayed women and exploring in depth some of Shakespeare’s most famous female characters.

The off-Broadway production features direction by Eric Tucker, sound design by Daniel Kluger, set and costume design by Valerie Bart and lighting design by Les Dickert. Women of Will opened on February 3.
