On the eve of her official Broadway opening, incoming Annie star Jane Lynch enjoyed a very enthusiastic matinee audience on May 15 that included 500 New York City schoolchildren—and her Glee castmate Matthew Morrison! After the show, Lynch, title star Lilla Crawford and the rest of the cast answered questions from the kids and led them in a rousing rendition of “NYC.” Then Morrison stepped backstage at the Palace Theatre to pose with Lynch (including this boa-tastic Hot Shot), Crawford and his former Hairspray co-star Clarke Thorell (Annie’s Rooster).
