Angela Bassett, Star Jones, Tyler Perry, Barbara Cook and more stars of stage and screen are making the journey to Broadway to see Cicely Tyson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Vanessa Williams and Condola Rashad in the Tony-nominated revival of The Trip to Bountiful! Directed by Michael Wilson, Horton Foote’s 1953 play tells the story of Carrie Watts (Tyson), an elderly woman who longs to return to her hometown of Bountiful, Texas, for one final visit. After catching the moving story, the stars headed backstage to greet the talented headliners.
