EGOT winner, comedian and The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg became an honorary member of the circus on May 21, when she caught a performance of the Tony-nominated revival of Pippin! After witnessing the magic of the reimagined, circus-themed production, Goldberg went backstage to congratulate headliner Matthew James Thomas, Tony nominees Patina Miller and Andrea Martin and the rest of the cast. Stephen Schwartz's iconic musical tells the story of a young prince (Thomas) searching for his corner of the sky.
