Principal Casting Announced for Dirty Dancing Musical at London's Piccadilly Theatre

Principal casting has been announced for the West End return of Dirty Dancing, which begins performances July 13 at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Jill Winternitz and Paul-Michael Jones will reprise their roles from the current touring cast as Baby Houseman and Johnny Castle, respectively.

Dirty Dancing will also feature Charlotte Gooch, who previously played the role of dancer Penny Johnson in the touring cast and Berlin production, as well as understudying in the original London production.

Winternitz's theater credits include Hamlet, The Canterbury Tales, Wounded, The Seagull and Sunday in the Park with George. Jones has appeared in the West End in Mamma Mia!. His other theater credits include Never Forget, We Will Rock You and Fame. Gooch was recently seen in the West End in Top Hat. Her other theater credits include Grease, Cats, Fly with the Stars and Cinderella.
