Broadway Grosses: Tony-Winning Musical Kinky Boots Plays to Full Houses

'Kinky Boots' pulled in over $1.4 million the week before winning the Tony.

During the week leading up to the Tony Awards audiences packed into many of the season's biggest new shows including eventual Best Musical winner Kinky Boots. Ticket sales for Cyndi Lauper's tuner keep climbing as the show is already playing to sold out crowds. Newcomers Lucky Guy, Motown, Matilda, I'll Eat You Last and Pippin are also playing to standing room only crowds.
