So a girl walks into a bar… to start filming her brand new backstage video blog! First Date leading lady Krysta Rodriguez will bring viewers along for a weekly date behind the scenes at the Longacre Theatre, where Rodriguez is starring in the brand new Broadway musical comedy. Set your calendars for Kiss & Tell: Backstage at First Date with Krysta Rodriguez!

First Date tells the ridiculous funny story of two strangers set up on a blind date. There’s serial dater Casey (Rodriguez), who has been on more first dates than she can count, and tightly-wound blind date virgin Aaron (Zachary Levi), who is still hung up on his uptown girl ex. A quick drink turns into an unforgettable dinner served up with Google background checks, fake bailout calls and a parade of family members and ex-lovers who come back to haunt Casey and Aaron. The show also stars Sara Chase, Kristoffer Cusick, Blake Hammond, Kate Loprest and Bryce Ryness.

Rodriguez recently wrapped a splashy role as Ana on the second season of Smash. Prior to her sensational turn on the show, she starred on Broadway in a slew of buzzy productions including The Addams Family, In the Heights, Spring Awakening, Good Vibrations and A Chorus Line.

Kiss & Tell: Backstage at First Date with Krysta Rodriguez premieres on Broadway.com on August 5, with new episodes airing every Monday thereafter.
