The London cast of 'Rock of Ages'
The West End production of 'Rock of Ages' will close November 2.

Pack up your air guitars, because the West End production of Rock of Ages is closing November 2, according to the Belfast Telegraph. Written by Chris D’Arienzo and directed by Kristin Hanggi, the ‘80s jukebox musical is currently playing at London’s Garrick Theatre. A U.K. tour is reportedly in the works, but no cast or touring dates have been set.

Featuring a score of classic ‘80s rock tunes, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew Boley, a bartender at L.A. hotspot The Bourbon Room, who dreams of becoming a rock star. The musical transferred to the Garrick Theatre in January after opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in August 2011. Rock of Ages opened on Broadway in April 2009 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre; it continues to rock on Broadway at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

The current West End cast of Rock of Ages includes Ross Hunter as Drew, Natalie Andreou as Sherrie, Tim Howar as Stacee Jaxx, Simon Lipkin as Lonny, Daniel Fletcher as Dennis, Rachel McFarlane as Justice, Rohan Tickell as Hertz, Jodie Jacobs as Regina, Sandy moffat as Franz, Nathan Amzi as Mayor, Tim Driesen as Joey Primo, Leanna Garretty as Young Groupie, Selina Hamilton as Constance and Carly Mercedes Dyer as Waitress #1, with Grant Anthony, Scarlette Douglas, Cordelia Farnworth, Ian McIntosh and Andrew Spillett rounding out the ensemble.
