Casting is complete for 'Twelfth Night' and 'Richard III.'

Complete casting has been announced for the all-male Shakespeare's Globe productions of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Richard III, which will be performed in repertory beginning October 15 at Broadway's Belasco Theatre. Starring Mark Rylance as Olivia in Twelfth Night and the title role in Richard III, the plays will celebrate opening night on November 10, directed by Tim Carroll.

The previously announced principal cast members include Stephen Fry, Samuel Barnett, Liam Brennan, Paul Chahidi, John Paul Connolly, Peter Hamilton Dyer, Colin Hurley and Jethro Skinner. They will be joined by Angus Wright (Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night; Duke of Buckingham in Richard III) and Terry McGinity (Sea Captain/Priest in Twelfth Night; Scrivener/Rivers/Blunt in Richard III).

Rounding out the 19-member cast are Kurt Egyiawan (Valentine/Officer in Twelfth Night; Richmond/Duchess of York in Richard III), Matt Harrington (Curio/Officer/Olivia’s Servant in Twelfth Night; Dorset/Bishop of Ely/Guard in Richard III), Matthew Schechter (Prince Edward in Richard III), Hayden Signoretti (Duke of York in Richard III), Joseph Timms (Sebastian in Twelfth Night; Lady Anne/Grey in Richard III) and understudies Dominic Brewer, Dylan Clark Marshall and Tony Ward.

The all-male productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III feature live music played on traditional Elizabethan instruments with the stage lit almost exclusively by the glow of 100 candles. Audiences wil witness the pre-show ritual of actors dressing and preparing their makeup on stage. The post-opening weekly schedule will include six performances of Twelfth Night and two of Richard III, with both shows presented on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
