Our TV sets (and computer screens) are alive with The Sound of Music...sorta! The first commercial for NBC's upcoming live broadcast of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical has been released, and fans can finally get a sneak peek at Carrie Underwood as the young, free spirited, kind and determined Maria Von Trapp. Underwood recently spoke about how nervous she is to take on the challenge of performing live in The Sound of Music, but the Grammy winner looks downright glowing in the new promo.
