In a preview of his exclusive ITV documentary Sex, Lies and a Very British Scapegoat, watch the iconic composer give a brief lesson on the Profumo Affair. One of the biggest political scandals in British history, it is now the inspiration for Lloyd Webber’s newest West End production, Stephen Ward. Ward, a society osteopath, found himself a scapegoat in the affair and the musical follows him through a headline-saturated trial until he can no longer endure the pressure.
