Don’t Quit Your Night Job lives! The cult hit show, described as a “late night happening of comedy, music and offbeat performances where Broadway and improv meet...and make out!," returns to New York at 54 Below on January 16. The performance will star creators Steve Rosen, Sarah Saltzberg and Dan Lipton, with a special cameo from original co-creator David Rossmer.
The variety show began in 2006 as a one-off benefit at Joe’s Pub, which grew into ten sold-out months. A commercial off-Broadway production followed in 2007 and it has subsequently played successful runs at the Zipper Factory, Julia Miles Theater and Le Poisson Rouge.
Performers expected to appear in Don’t Quit Your Night Job include Derrick Baskin,Tony nominee John Ellison Conlee, Lilla Crawford, Lea DeLaria, Alexander Gemignani, Jason Kravits, Tony nominated composer-lyricists Benji Pasek and Justin Paul, Ephraim Sykes, Tony nominee Mary Testa (Disaster!) and Tony Danza.
