Hold Her in Your Heart! Jeanna de Waal Begins Performances in Kinky Boots

Raise her up! Jeanna de Waal begins performances as Lauren in the Tony and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award-winning musical Kinky Boots on March 4. She replaces Annaleigh Ashford, who is departing the production for her role on Showtime’s Masters of Sex. Meanwhile, Cortney Wolfson, who was in the production's ensemble, moves up to the part of Nicola, with Anna Eilinsfeld taking over her previous place in the cast.

De Waal most recently played Glinda on the Wicked national tour and has also been seen off-Broadway in Carrie, in the West End in We Will Rock You and on Broadway in American Idiot. Wolfson has also been seen on Broadway in The Addams Family and Les Miz.

As previously announced, Tony winner Billy Porter will remain in the show in the big boots of Lola. The cast also currently features Andy Kelso as Charlie Price, Daniel Stewart Sherman, Marcus Neville, Paul Canaan, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, Kyle Taylor Parker, Kyle Post, Charlie Sutton, Joey Taranto, Jake Odmark, Natalie Joy Johnson, Jennifer Perry, Douglas Baldeo, Sebastian Hedges Thomas, Adinah Alexander, Eugene Barry-Hill, Stephen Berger, Cameron Colley, Sandra DeNise, Jaden Jordan, Eric Leviton, Ellyn Marie Marsh, John Jeffrey Martin, Abby Mueller, Nathan Peck, Robert Pendilla, Stephen Tewksbury and Timothy Ware.
