Some pretty strong numbers for Mr. President! The Bryan Cranston-led All The Way surpassed usual suspect The Book of Mormon as the leading show by capacity last week at 106.18%. This may in part be due to the All The Way playing only six performances this past week, though the play still managed to bring in its second-highest grossing week since the Tony-nominated show began performances in February. Three favorite musicals with Tony nominators, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, Beautiful and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, each exceeded capacity as well, with Gentleman's Guide doing so for the first time in its run at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Meanwhile, The Lion King took back its title as the highest grossing show, with box office hits Wicked, The Book of Mormon, Kinky Boots and A Raisin in the Sun rounding out the top five.
