Robert Pattinson's Writing a Play, Eyeing London Run
Twilight’s Robert Pattinson is penning a play. That’s right. A play. For the stage. Breathe, twihards. “I’m trying to write a play, which I’ve been trying to do for ages,” the former vampire told MTV. “I think maybe in the next year, I’d like to direct it. Probably in London, but I’m not sure yet.” He’d also “100 percent” like to star in it. No word yet on what the show's about, although KStew may be worrying that she's given RPatz plenty of inspiration.

The Normal Heart & B'way Vets Win Big at Critics' Choice Awards
The Critics' Choice Awards took place on June 19 and Broadway had reason to celebrate. The screen adaptation of Larry Kramer’s Tony-winning play The Normal Heart took home the Best Movie prize, while Matt Bomer picked up Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Mini-Series for his performance in the film and its director, Glee's Ryan Murphy, collected the Genius Award. Orange Is The New Black was one of the night’s big winners and Great White Way alum Uzo Aduba (Godspell) won Best Guest Performer for her performance in the Comedy Series. Broadway vets Allison Janney and Jessica Lange also picked up prizes. Congrats to all!

West End Will See The Kinks' Sunny Afternoon
The previously reported Kinks musical, Sunny Afternoon, which had an acclaimed run this spring at London’s Hampstead Theatre, will transfer to the West End in the fall. According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, the show will begin performances at the Harold Pinter Theatre in late September.
