Weekend Poll Top Three: Fans Want The Fault In Our Stars' Ansel Elgort to Make His Broadway Debut!
Ansel Elgort
Ansel Elgort can sing and dance, and is no stranger to the New York stage.

Broadway.com has been hitting the movies! While we gear up for an exciting fall season on stage, we’ve been beating the heat in movie megaplexes. Because let’s face it: people would be pissed if we went to a Broadway show with popcorn and Sno-Caps. This year’s summer blockbusters are packed with some of Hollywood’s biggest celebs, and we want to know: which summer movie star would you like to see on the Great White Way? The votes are in, and here’s what you had to say!

1. Ansel Elgort, The Fault in Our Stars—29%
This one just seems like an obvious choice. The 20-year-old actor delivered a heartbreaking performance in The Fault In Our Stars this summer, having previously appeared on screen in Divergent and Carrie. But he also has the chops to take it to the stage—just like he did in Regrets off-Broadway. And after watching Elgort sing and dance, we’re more than ready for this kid to star in a musical on the Great White Way.

She cracked us up in flicks such as Tammy, The Heat and Bridesmaids (for which she was nominated for an Oscar). And she’s no stranger to the small screen, after taking home an Emmy for Mike & Molly. But while she has some stage cred as an improv alum and an SNL host, she’s never been on Broadway. Maybe it’s time. As it turns out, we happen to have the perfect vehicle in mind for her…

3. Chris Pratt, Guardians of the Galaxy—14%
In preparation for his performance as Star-Lord, the Hollywood superhero has gone from funny guy on Parks and Rec to Men’s Fitness cover guy. And he can totally sing, sort of. Straight play or musical, Pratt would definitely have audiences swooning and laughing simultaneously. Wait. What’s going on with that Magic Mike musical…?
