Could Chris Evans have his name in lights on the Great White Way? It wouldn’t be out of the question! The film star, who makes his directorial debut with the film Before We Go (in which he also stars), told The New York Times that he would “definitely” consider appearing on Broadway or off-Broadway.
“I’m always looking for something new,” he said, answering a fan submitted question. “And I certainly miss the theater. So who knows what tomorrow will bring?”
Evans is perhaps best known for his performance as Captain America in The First Avenger, The Avengers, and The Winter Soldier. He will carry the patriotic shield again in Avengers: Age of Ultron, slated for 2015. Evans’ additional film credits include Snowpiercer, Fantastic Four, Cellular and Not Another Teen Movie.
The Great White Way will welcome you to the stage with open arms, Evans. Though they probably won’t be as toned as yours. We’ll get on that. In the meantime, can you sing?
