Three productions by playwright Christopher B. Latro will receive their world premieres off-Broadway. All three plays—Absolution, The Frugal Repast and Devoted Dreams—will be directed by Anna Bamberger.
Dark comedy Absolution will begin performances on December 1 and officially open on December 10 at St. Luke’s Theatre. It follows two bankers, their lovers, and the things they love the most: money, power and satisfaction. As their fast-paced games unfold, a spiral of ambition, love and betrayal unravels.
The cast of Absolution will feature Becca Ballenger, Pedro Carmo, Katrina Ferguson and Ethan Saks. Set design will be by Lauren Mills, with costumes by Michael Alan Stein, lighting by Jamie Roderick and sound by Samuel Godin.
The other productions will run at Theatre Row’s Beckett Theatre. The Frugal Repast will play a limited engagement April 2, 2015 through May 23. Devoted Dreams will begin performances on May 27, 2015 and run through July 4.
