The formal end of summer always marks the end of the run for a number of Broadway shows, and those productions departing the Main Stem early this month have seen a corresponding bump in the grosses over the past week. The Tony-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which closed on September 4, was up by a massive $145,870 on the previous week, grossing a total of $667,778, the most it has done so since January. As predicted, the Les Miserables revival had an impressive final week, breaking into the top five by gross and capacity, bringing home $1,326,559 with 99.45% of seats filled. Meanwhile, the Tony-winning Fun Home, which will close on September 10, was up $40,183 in the smallest Broadway house, Circle in the Square, making its total $448,848. Another Tony winner, Hamilton, continued its dominance, and was the only show to break the $2 million mark over Labor Day Weekend.
