The Broadway.com staff is crazy for Culturalist, the website that lets you choose and create your own top 10 lists. Every week, we’re challenging you with a new Broadway-themed topic to rank.
What would we do (baby) without classic sitcoms? As announced this week, Family Ties is heading to the stage. Playwright Daniel Goldstein is adapting the entire series into a play, which will bow in Dayton, Ohio (a nod to the beloved series' setting) in June 2017. The project has us feeling major nostalgia for some of our favorite classic sitcoms (laugh tracks and all), so we want to throw it back a bit and ask: What classic sitcom should be adapted for the stage? I Love Lucy, Happy Days, The Honeymooners and Cheers have already received the theater treatment. Social Media Manager Caitlyn Gallip kicked off this week's Culturalist Challenge off with her top 10. Now it's your turn!
