There may be a million things he hasn’t done, but Alexander Hamilton can at least cross off making over three million dollars in a single week. The smash hit Hamilton led the box office grosses over Thanksgiving weekend as one of 13 shows to make seven figures over the holiday that typically does gangbusters for the Great White Way. Other shows in the Millionaire’s Club include Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (with Josh Groban back in the spotlight following a brief illness) and the Andrew Lloyd Webber hat trick: The Phantom of the Opera, Cats and School of Rock. At $35,280,355, this was the highest-grossing Thanksgiving weekend in recorded history—hardly a turkey in sight.
