Winter, spring, summer or fall, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is a Broadway mainstay, but the winter in particular brings a particular holiday boost. The tuner, which celebrated three years on the Great White Way last month, grossed over $1 million for the second consecutive week, taking in $1,061,673. Its capacity was at almost 99% of its potential. Expect its figures to stay in this range through the New Year as tourists head to the city. The five usual suspects remained at the top of the boards, with the starry The Front Page, soon-to-close Jersey Boys and the buzzy hit Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 trailing behind.
