D. Sabella to Return to Broadway's Chicago

Chicago original cast member D. Sabella a.k.a. David Sabella is coming back to the hit revival for a second time. He will begin performances on July 20.

Sabella was this production's first Sunshine and returned to the show for a stint in the spring of 2003. Aside from Chicago, his theatrical credits include A Little Night Music, Sweeny Todd, Godspell, Shenandoah, Gingerbread Lady, Lisbon Traviata and Lend Me a Tenor. He is also an accomplished opera singer and won the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition in 1995.

Chicago currently stars Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Christopher Sieber as Billy Flynn, P.J. Benjamin as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron Mama Morton and R. Bean as Mary Sunshine. Tracy Shayne will play Roxie Hart from June 13 to June 21 with Paige Davis stepping into the role from June 22 through August 8. Wayne Brady is also scheduled to go into the show--he will play Billy Flynn from September 7 through November 28.
