Luba Mason
Luba Mason will be Chicago's next Velma Kelly. She will begin performances in the revival of June 28.
Mason has appeared on the Great White Way in Late Nite Comic, Sid Caesar & Company, The Will Rogers Follies, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Jekyll & Hyde and The Capeman. Mason also appeared in The Ten Commandments with Val Kilmer at Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre. She has a solo CD, Collage, that was released on the PS Classics label.
Chicago currently stars Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn, Mary Testa as Matron "Mama" Morton, P.J. Benjamin as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
