Singer Huey Lewis will make his Broadway debut in Chicago. He is set to begin performances as slick lawyer Billy Flynn on November 1.

Lewis is a founding member and lead vocalist of Huey Lewis and The News. The group has released 10 albums and have amassed sales over 20 million. Huey Lewis and The News' popular hits include, "The Power of Love," "The Heart of Rock and Roll," "Stuck With You," "I Want a New Drug," "Workin' For a Livin" and "If This Is It." Lewis made his film debut with a cameo role in Back To The Future the film which featured "The Power of Love". He has also appeared in the films Short Cuts, Land of Milk and Honey, Sphere, Shadow of Doubt, Duets and .com for Murder. Lewis has guest-starred on TV's Just Shoot Me and One Tree Hill.

Chicago currently stars Charlotte d'Amboise, Luba Mason, Mary Testa, Christopher McDonald, Ray Bokhour and R. Lowe. Testa will play her final performances as Matron Mama Morton on July 24, and Carol Woods will begin in the part two days later. Brooke Shields is scheduled to step into the role of Roxie Hart on September 9, replacing d'Amboise.
