Patricia Phillips Returns to Phantom on May 15; Anne Runolfsson Departs

Patricia Phillips will return to the role of Carlotta Giudicelli in The Phantom of the Opera on May 15. She replaces current cast member Anne Runolfsson, who will play her final performance in the long-running musical on May 13.

Phillips previously played Carlotta on Broadway from June 3, 2003, through May 29, 2004. She also performed the role as part of the Toronto company and Canadian tour. In addition to Phantom, Phillips has appeared on the Great White Way in The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music and La Bohème. Her other theatrical credits include the national tour of Carousel and regional mountings of The Pajama Game and Man of La Mancha.

In addition to Runolfsson, The Phantom of the Opera stars Howard McGillin as The Phantom, Rebecca Pitcher as Christine Daaé and Michael Shawn Lewis as Raoul.
