About the Show

Jenny Powers and Matthew Saldivar have been cast as Rizzo and Kenickie in the Broadway revival of Grease, it was revealed on the live finale of NBC's You're the One That I Want! They will join leads Max Crumm and Laura Osnes in the production, which is scheduled to start performances on Broadway on July 24.

Powers made her Broadway debut in 2005 as oldest sister Meg in the musical version of Little Women, earning a Audience Award nomination for Favorite Breakthrough Performance. She was most recently seen as Young Phyllis in the acclaimed Encores! concert staging of Follies last month. She was previously seen in the Encores! staging of Of Thee I Sing. Her other theatrical credits include Stephen Sondheim's Bounce at the Goodman Theatre and the Kennedy Center, A Little Night Music at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Everything's Ducky at Northlight Theatre, 1776 at the Marriott Theatre and Dangerous Beauty at Vassar College's Powerhouse Theater.

A member of the popular downtown singing group The Petersons, Saldivar made his debut on Broadway as Sammy in The Wedding Singer. His other theatrical credits include Timon of Athens at the Delacorte Theatre, Spread Eagle at the WPA Theatre, June Moon at the Drama Dept., The Alchemist at CSC Theatre, Working at the Long Wharf Theatre, The Architecture of Loss at New York Theatre Workshop, Sea of Tranquility at the Atlantic Theatre and Massacre at the LAByrinth Theatre.

Grease is set to open on August 19 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
