Casting Announced for Off-Broadway Comedy My First Time

Casting is complete for My First Time, a new play written, directed and produced by Ken Davenport, the producer of Altar Boyz. The show will begin an open-ended run at New World Stages/Stage 5 on July 12. No opening night has been announced.

Featured in the cast will be Bill Dawes comedy at the Laugh Factory, Burning Blue off-Broadway, Josh Heine Jewtopia, Kathy Searle The Awesome 80s Prom and Cydnee Welburn NYC stage debut.

In 1998, a decade before blogging began, a website was created that allowed people to anonymously share their own true stories about their "First Time." More than 40,000 stories poured in from around the globe that were silly, sweet, absurd, funny, heterosexual, homosexual, awkward, shy, sexy and everything in between. These stories and the unique characters in them are all brought to life in My First Time, described as being in the style of The Vagina Monologues.
