Maxwell Caulfield is headed to the Broadway company of Chicago for a two-week engagement as Billy Flynn. Caulfied, who played the role in the London production of the hit musical, will begin his run on November 19 and continue through December 2 at the Ambassador Theatre. On December 3, Broadway vet Jeff McCarthy will assume the role of Billy for a five-week engagement, through January 13. Pop star Brian McKnight is continuing in the Broadway cast through November 18.

Caulfield most recently appeared on the New York stage in Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Charles Busch's Our Leading Lady. Other notable New York theater credits include Tryst, My Night with Reg, My Deah, An Inspector Calls, Salonika, Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Paradise Lost and Class Enemy, His notable film credits include The Real Blonde, Grease II and The Boys Next Door, in addition to his long run as Miles Colby on the TV soap Dynasty.

McCarthy most recently appeared on Broadway as Chieftain Dubhdara in The Pirate Queen. His other Broadway credits include Urinetown, Side Show, Beauty and the Beast, Smile, Zorba and The Pirates of Penzance.

As of November 19, the Broadway production of Chicago stars Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Vincent Pastore as Amos Hart, Aida Turturro as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
