Dance Star Neil Haskell to Join the Cast of Altar Boyz

Neil Haskell, runner-up last season on FOX's reality show So You Think You Can Dance, will join the off-Broadway company of Altar Boyz as pious boy-bander Luke on April 22. Haskell will replace Jesse JP Johnson, who is leaving to join the Broadway musical Glory Days.

Haskell made his Broadway debut in The Times They Are a Changin' and has appeared at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Orchestra in Beauty and the Beast, 42nd Street, Grease and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. He has appeared on TV's One Life to Live and the upcoming MTV film The American Mall.

Altar Boyz, a long-running hit at off-Broadway's New World Stages, won the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. The cast also features Michael Kadin Craig, Jay Garcia, Ryan J. Ratliff and Ryan Strand.
