Grease's Cody Green was crowned the winner of Bravo's TV dance competition Step It Up & Dance on June 5, taking home the $100,000 prize and bragging rights after besting 11 other contenders over the course of the competition.

"When they said my name, my legs just buckled under me. I definitely danced my heart out, I left it all out on the dance floor," the 27-year-old Canadian explained afterward. Green, who has starred in both the West End and Broadway productions of Movin' Out and is currently a member of the Broadway.com Audience Award-winning Grease ensemble and Kenickie understudy, was lauded by the judges for his meticulous technique and ease onstage. His other credits included Julie Taymor's film Across the Universe. Step it Up was hosted by Elizabeth Berkley and Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell.

Green, a Juilliard graduate and the son of a dance teacher, will soon appear in the film Center Stage 2, a follow-up to 2000's cult classic dance flick, and as a featured dancer in the Brad Pitt movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
