Jeff McCarthy
Jeff McCarthy and Terra C. MacLeod are headed back for short stints in the Broadway company of Chicago. Reprising his turn as slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn, McCarthy returns to the Ambassador Theatre October 6 through 12, filling in for the vacationing Tom Wopat, who'll be back with the show on October 13. MacLeod will play Velma Kelly from October 27 through November 2, stepping in while Brenda Braxton is on break.

McCarthy made his Chicago debut as Billy Flynn in December 2007 and returned for a second extended engagement last March. His other Broadway credits include The Pirate Queen, Urinetown as Officer Lockstock, which earned him a Drama Desk nomination, Side Show and Beauty and the Beast, among others.

MacLeod has a long history with Velma Kelly, having starred in the French world-premiere of Chicago in Montreal 2003 and Paris 2004, with subsequent engagements with the Broadway production and the national and international tours. Other recent stage credits include The Pajama Game at Musical Theatre West Los Angeles and Guys and Dolls at the San Diego Musical Theatre. Following her one-week Broadway run, MacLeod will headline the upcoming 10th national tour of Chicago, which launches on November 11 at the Belk Theatre in Charlotte, NC.
