The dinner scene in August: Osage County
The Weston clan is hitting the road: Tracy Letts' award-winning family drama August: Osage County will launch its first national tour at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco from August 11 to September 6, 2009. Subsequent engagements will be announced shortly.
Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, August: Osage County began life at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre last summer before moving to Broadway's Imperial Theater, where it opened on December 4. The play transferred to the Music Box Theatre on April 29 and continues its Broadway run, directed by Anna D. Shapiro. No casting has been announced for the national tour.
