The Broadway production of August: Osage County is moving next door this spring. Tracy Letts' acclaimed drama about a missing patriarch and his wildly dysfunctional family will open at the Music Box Theatre on April 29 after playing its final performance at the Imperial Theatre on April 20. The Broadway production of the musical Billy Elliot is scheduled to give its first performance at the Imperial on September 17.

Steppenwolf Theater Company's production of August: Osage County opened on Broadway on October 30 with most of its original Chicago cast intact. The play had been announced as a limited engagement, and there's no word yet on how many of the current cast members many of them Chicago-based will remain with the show after it switches theaters.

The original Broadway cast of August: Osage County includes Ian Barford, Deanna Dunagan, Kimberly Guerrero, Francis Guinan, Brian Kerwin, Dennis Letts, Madeleine Martin, Mariann Mayberry, Amy Morton, Sally Murphy, Jeff Perry, Rondi Reed and Troy West. Anna D. Shapiro directed both the Steppenwolf and Broadway productions of the play.
