Steve Kazee landed his first Broadway role as a replacement Sir Lancelot in Spamalot. He went on to understudy the role of Leslie in Edward Albee’s Seascape, play Sobinsky in To Be Or Not To Be and star opposite Audra McDonald in 110 in the Shade.

Kazee was once in an ’80s cover band called Funky Brewster Magnum P.I. It was, in his words, “terrible.”
