Carmello received a 2006 Tony Award nomination for her work in Lestat, having previously been nominated in 1999 for Parade. Other Broadway credits include City of Angels, Falsettos, 1776, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Kiss Me, Kate and Urinetown. Off-Broadway, she's been seen in Hello Again for which she won an Obie Award, Elegies, A Class Act, John and Jen, Das Barbecü, I Can Get It For You Wholesale and The Vagina Monologues.
Bunting will rejoin the Broadway company of Mamma Mia! after two years with the national tour. His regional credits include Road, Endgame, Killer Joe, Julius Caesar and Macbeth.
The cast and creative team of Mamma Mia! will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Broadway with a special performance on October 18. The show currently stars Leah Hocking as Donna Sheridan, Carey Anderson as Sophie Sheridan, David McDonald as Sam, Olga Merediz as Rosie, Judy McLane as Tanya, Andy Kelso as Sky, Ben Gettinger as Pepper, Samantha Eggers as Lisa, Veronica J. Kuehn as Ali and Raymond J. Lee as Eddie.
