Richard Chamberlain is set to play King Arthur in the national tour of Spamalot. The actor's first performance is scheduled for January 20 at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago.

Jonathan Hadary who recently completed an almost two-year run as King Arthur in the Broadway company of Monty Python's Spamalot has signed on to play the king in the show's national tour. He will join the touring company on September 2 in Hartford, CT, and will stay on the road through February 1, 2009.
