Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening is headed to Miami during its annual spring hiatus from off-Broadway's 47th Street Theatre. The show will begin its break on March 24 and resume performances in New York on June 28.

Under the terms of its rental agreement, Forbidden Broadway must vacate the 47th Street Theatre each spring to allow the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre to play its season. During this time, the show will play a limited run at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. Performances in Miami begin March 25, staring the New York cast of Jared Bradshaw, Janet Dickinson, James Donegan and Valerie Fagan, along with musical director David Caldwell.

Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening, the latest incarnation of Gerard Alessandrini's affectionate lampooning of Broadway shows and stars, opened on October 2, 2007.
