The long-running off-Broadway musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change has set a closing date of July 27 at the Westside Theatre. The production will have played a total of 5,003 performances and 20 previews, making it the second longest-running musical in off-Broadway history after The Fantasticks.

Opening at the Westside Theatre on August 1, 1996, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change became an immediate hit, famously labeled “Seinfeld set to music” by one critic. The musical revue celebrates the modern-day suburban mating game as a cast of four explores the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws.

Currently featured in the cast are Anne Bobby, Christy Faber, Jonathan Rayson and Frank Vlastnik. The show is written by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts and directed by Joel Bishoff, presented by James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard.

Additional productions of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change have been mounted in more than 500 cities worldwide. The show has received eight international Best Musical awards, been translated into 12 languages and grossed more than $200 million.
