Johanna Day and Michael Milligan to Join the Cast of August: Osage County

Tony Award nominee Johanna Day has been tapped to replace Amy Morton as Barbara Fordham in the Broadway company of Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County. Michael Milligan will make his Broadway debut as Little Charles, replacing Jim True-West. Both actors will join the production on October 14 at the Music Box Theatre.

Day, a Tony nominee for Proof, appeared on the New York stage last season in Edward Albee’s Peter and Jerry and Ethan Coen’s Almost an Evening. She most recently starred in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Hartford Stage. Other credits at theaters across the country include The Evildoers, Behave Yourself, Distracted, Vigils, The Rainmaker, Carol Mulroney, Satellites, How I Learned to Drive, Helen, Oedipus, An American Daughter, Anthems, Three Postcards, Blue Window and Vick’s Boy.

Milligan’s off-Broadway credits Thom Pain and The Golem. He has performed leading roles at major regional theaters and Shakespeare festivals around the country.
