Their opening got delayed (due to a cast change) and press reports hinted at backstage turmoil, but the stars of Kenneth Lonergan’s The Starry Messenger, led by two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick and Oscar nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace), were all smiles at a November 16 dinner party celebrating the new play. The hip New Group always attracts a cool crowd, and the Starry soiree at Montenapo was no exception.
