Death of a Salesman Cancels First Broadway Preview Due to Illness of Philip Seymour Hoffman

The first preview of Mike Nichols’ Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman has been canceled because Philip Seymour Hoffman, who stars as Willy Loman, has the flu. The revival, starring Hoffman, Andrew Garfield and Linda Emond, is expected to begin performances on February 14 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
