Claim to fame
Wallace Smith got his big break when he moved up from ensemble player to title lead Simba in The Lion King's national tour and later on Broadway. In 2009, Smith appeared on Broadway in Ragtime, followed by a a stint as the replacement Hud in Hair. From there, he jumped to the role of Favorite Son in American Idiot and Judas in the 2011 Broadway revival of Godspell.
