An opening date for the Broadway premiere of Irving Berlin's White Christmas has been announced. The show will officially open at the Marquis Theatre on November 23. As was previously announced, previews begin November 14 for a limited-engagement run through January 4.

An adaptation of the classic 1954 film, White Christmas comes to Broadway after engagements in San Francisco, Detroit, Toronto, Los Angeles and St. Paul. Directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, the holiday musical features a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. With classic Berlin songs such as “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Sisters,” “How Deep is the Ocean” and the ageless title tune, White Christmas tells the story of two showbiz buddies who put on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and end up finding their perfect mates.

White Christmas is produced by Kevin McCollum, John Gore, Tom McGrath, Paul Blake, The Producing Office, Dan Markley, Sonny Everett and Broadway Across America in association with Paramount Pictures. Casting will be announced shortly.
