Mel Brooks' musical stage adaptation of Young Frankenstein will have its pre-Broadway tryout in Seattle, running August 4-September 1 at the Paramount Theater, according to Variety. The show is aiming for a Halloween opening night on the Great White Way.

Young Frankenstein will reteam Brooks with many members of the creative team behind his mega-hit The Producers, which closed April 22 after a six-year run at the St. James Theatre. Director/choreographer Susan Stroman is back on board, along with Thomas Meehan co-book writer, Robin Wagner set design, William Ivey Long costume design and Peter Kaczorowski lighting design.
