You’re Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush, featuring well-loved funny man Will Ferrell as the departing President of the United States of America, is shifting its opening night by a few days.
Originally scheduled to open on Sunday, February 1, the one-man show will now officially open at the Cort Theatre on Thursday, February 5. Performances are still scheduled to start on January 20, President Bush’s final day in office, and play through March 15
As previously announced, You’re Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush will be directed by Adam McKay, Ferrell’s longtime collaborator and director of the comedy classics Anchorman, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and this summer’s box office hit Step Brothers.
