The Great White Way paid homage to touring companies on April 14 by doling out awards at the annual Touring Broadway Awards ceremony. Feted by The Broadway League and hosted by Madeleine Martin and Rondi Reed of August: Osage County, the awards were presented at the Hilton New York by guests like Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale) and Amy Morton (August: Osage County). Big winners included the companies of Spamalot (Best New Touring Musical), the Roundabout's Twelve Angry Men (Best Touring Play) and The Lion King (Best Long-Running Musical), as well as The Phantom of the Opera's Brad Little (Touring Broadway Achievement Award), who has played the title role more than 2,100 times since 2003.
