Three weeks before opening night, Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere musical 10 Million Miles has announced a two-week extension through July 15. The show, which features music and lyrics by Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Patty Griffin Impossible Dream, a book by Keith Bunin The Busy World Is Hushed and direction by Michael Mayer Spring Awakening, is now in previews at the Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater and is set to open on June 14.

10 Million Miles features Irene Molloy The Civil War, WB's Grosse Pointe, Matthew Morrison The Light in the Piazza, Skipp Sudduth Writer's Block, TV's Third Watch and Academy Award nominee and two-time Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham Georgia, Grey's Anatomy.

The show follows the story of a road trip taken by Duane Morrison and Molly Molloy in a beat-up Chevy pick-up truck from the southern tip of Florida to the northwest corner of New York, with plenty of unexpected detours along the way. Winningham, as "the women," plays multiple roles.
