The governor gained national attention in August when he dropped the political bombshell that he had an adulterous affair with a man and announced, "My truth is that I am a gay American." The democrat made for an interesting audience member for the Tony-winning musical in which Rod, a republican puppet, also struggles with his sexual identity before embracing it.
