The trials and tribulations of the people (and puppets) in the neighborhood.
Before his resignation takes effect on November 15, New Jersey Governor James E. McGreevey is promoting a good relationship with neighboring New York. How so? By visiting Broadway's Avenue Q! The governor gained national attention in August when he dropped the political bombshell that he had an adulterous affair with a man and announced, "My truth is that I am a gay American." The democrat made for an interesting audience member for the Tony-winning musical in which Rod, a republican puppet, also struggles with his sexual identity before embracing it. As you can tell from the photos, democrats and republicans really can get along!
